Is it worth grading?

A plain calculator for Pokémon and sports cards. It lines up the PSA, CGC, and TAG bill against selling the card raw.

What the verdict counts

  1. The grading feeThe cheapest open tier that covers the card’s value. Paused tiers are skipped.
  2. Return shippingOnly when that company publishes a US price. Insurance on the way back is included in that figure when their chart says so.
  3. The price gapGraded sale minus raw sale, times how many cards. If the gap is smaller than the bill, it is not worth it.

Not counted: the postage you pay to mail cards in, eBay or TCGplayer selling fees, membership discounts, or your time. A grade you did not type in is not guessed.
