PSA grading cost

PSA’s trading-card grading page, checked October 2, 2026, starts at Standard: $59.99 a card, up to $1,000 insured, about 90–100 business days. The cheaper Value tiers are not taking new cards.

On June 2, 2026, PSA paused new submissions for Value Bulk, Value, Value Plus, and Value Max. The grading page still shows Value Bulk and Value as unavailable. It does not print a current fee for them, so this site does not invent one. A $40 card is matched to Standard, not to a Value tier.

Open tiers

Faster tiers cost more and insure more. Premium 10 is a formula: $9,999 up to $350,000 insured, then $399 for each extra $10,000. PSA’s own example is a $425,000 card at $13,191.

Prices are the public per-card fees on PSA's trading-card grading page. Turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed. PSA's page says the clock does not start until the order is entered into the grading system.

Shipping

US return shipping and insurance are on PSA’s postage chart, last updated on that page August 29, 2025. One to four cards, insured up to $2,000, are $19.99 back to you. You still pay to mail the cards to PSA, and that inbound leg is not in the total.

Turnaround times are estimates. PSA says the clock starts when the order is in their system, not when you drop it in a mailbox.
