TAG grading explained
TAG grades cards, seals them in a slab, and gives you images plus a report you can open from the holder. The public pages checked for this site do not spell out the letters T-A-G, so this page does not invent an expansion.
The scale runs from 1 to 10, and 10 Pristine is their top label. Standard and up add a TAG Score: a 1,000-point number and a rank. Premier adds a longer report with subscores. Priority, Express, and Premier include a 360° video of the slab. Base, as described, is the grade and standard images only.
What it costs
TAG’s help article, current as of September 30, 2026, lists Standard at $59.95 (about 45 business days, insurance up to $1,000), Priority at $79.95, Express at $149.95, and Premier at $299.95. Base is described at about 60 business days with insurance capped at $500. The article does not state a Base price. A “from $39.95” line on the site is not used here, because it is not tied to Base in that article.
Insurance, up to the tier cap, is included in the grading fee. A return-shipping price is not published, so TAG totals on this site are the grading fee only. You still pay to mail the cards in.
